About Shama Institute Of Medical Sciences (SIMS)

Shama Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) was established in 2016 by Shama Charitable Trust to equip young minds in serving a society afflicted with poor health and alleviate the sufferings of the unwell. SIMS is attached to HBS Hospital, a 100-bed multi-specialty hospital certified by NABH, providing hands-on opportunities to gain confidence and competent expertise during the practical phase. Currently, 4 paramedical courses are being offered to candidates who have completed their SSLC or PUC. SIMS currently has more than 100 students across the 3 years. Most of the students come from the most deserving backgrounds and are first-generation learners. They have limited exposure to quality education and skill development needed to lead a respectable and dignified life.
